About the opportunity
Cancer Research UK have been working in partnership with the Royal College of General Practitioners since 2012. GPs can play a huge role in supporting their patients to reduce the risk of getting cancer, and in diagnosing cancer as early as possible. The partnership supports best practice in this important area.
As a patient representative on the committee you’ll ensure that the perspectives of cancer patients and those close to them is represented in our joint activities and decision making. You’ll help to help to challenge the Steering Group and ensure our work is always considering ‘what is the benefit for patients?’ This insight will increase the quality and relevance of the work that the partnership delivers and will benefit patients by improving their experience with their GPs.
