Patient Rep - Quality of Life Steering Group
The UCLH Cancer Alliance is looking for a patient/carer representative to join their Quality of Life Steering Group. Work with the group to deliver an exciting pilot project assessing how well people are supported after their cancer treatment.
Closing date: Friday 17 August
Location: Meetings will be held in an accessible venue, usually near Warren Street station, Central London.
Payment and Expenses: Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with the expenses policy.
Time commitment: Steering Group Meetings take place at 1.00pm on the last Friday of the month for approx. 90 minutes. There may also be occasional project work and virtual involvement via email in between meetings.
About this opportunity:
UCLH Cancer Collaborative is one of five sites in England piloting a new NHS England-funded questionnaire designed to help build an understanding of how well people are supported after treatment. The questionnaire will eventually be rolled out across the country, and the findings will help drive improvements in support for people living with and beyond cancer. As a patient / carer representative on the steering group, you will make ensure this project is informed by the needs of people with cancer at every stage.
