About the opportunity:

As Chair of our Patient Experience and User Involvement Steering Group, you’ll play a pivotal role in promoting a collaborative approach between the UCLH Cancer Collaborative and people affected by cancer, ensuring partner organisations (including Trusts and CCGs) engage and involve people affected by cancer to design and improve services to deliver positive patient experience.

Steering Group Co-chairs will also attend the UCLH Cancer Collaborative Board meetings to provide updates and discuss key issues arising from the patient experience and user involvement programme of work.

We are especially interested to hear from people from Black and Ethnic Minority backgrounds, people under 45, and LGBT people who are interested in applying for the Chair role, as we know that these groups often experience extra barriers when it comes to accessing and engaging with cancer services.
