Cancer survivor Neve and her family

Our research into different types of leukaemia has helped to improve the way patients like Neve are treated. In the UK in the early 1970s, 4 in 10 children with cancer survived. Thanks to research, today, more than 8 in 10 survive, but we need to do more to bring forward the day when every child survives.* Gifts in Wills fund over a third of our research, and are vital in bringing forward the day when future generations won't fear cancer.

*Statistic based on five-year survival.
