Since 2015, Ticketmaster UK has raised over £560k for Cancer Research UK, thanks to its innovative customer donation platform and the fundraising efforts of its staff.
A particular highlight of our partnership to date came in 2018, when Ticketmaster UK staff got behind our Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) campaign. The organisation became our first corporate partner to hold an employee Ultra White Collar Boxing event for SU2C, where daring employees trained for a competitive bout against their colleagues in front of a live audience. This fantastic event raised almost £50k.
At the heart of everything we’ve achieved with Ticketmaster UK has been a palpable commitment to our cause and a desire to do more to help beat cancer. And in 2018, we recognised Ticketmaster UK’s innovative approach to finding a more effective way to target their audience and raise more funds with a Cancer Research UK ‘Being Sharp’ award.
We look forward to the next phase of our partnership, which sees Ticketmaster UK take a global approach to help us beat cancer.
Global Cancer Charity Network
Ticketmaster is uniting employees around the world and tackling cancer on a global scale with its brand new Global Cancer Charity Network. Developed in partnership with Cancer Research UK, this pioneering international initiative pairs each of Ticketmaster’s offices with a local cancer charity. That’s a total of 19 charities across 20 countries! Its aim is to raise vital funds that reach beyond borders to help more people around the world affected by cancer. We can’t wait to see what this exciting network has in store.
