What will I be doing?

  • Working with a committed team of volunteers to bring together this outstanding event in the community which last year raised over £100,000 towards our lifesaving research
  • Your task with be varied and there are opportunities to be involved all year culmination in a weekend long Relay in July

What skills do I need?

You will be enthusiastic and motivated, with a passion for the work of Cancer Research UK. You will work alongside the rest of the group of volunteers to support the delivery of this long standing community fundraising event.You may have skills and expertise in the event/project management field, or simply just happy to give your time!

What support will we give you?

An induction and ongoing support and guidance from your Local Fundraising Manager as well as fellow volunteers

Where will I be based?

Most tasks can be completed from home with group meetings in Portsmouth.  Some travel within the area may be needed so access to a car could be an advantage.
