About this opportunity

COVIDENCE UK’ is a national study is investigating how long-standing conditions like cancer, and other factors such as diet and lifestyle may interact to influence susceptibility to coronavirus disease and its complications. This information could help the team to develop simple modifications to diet, lifestyle or medication that could reduce risk of coronavirus disease while we are waiting for a vaccine.

The study is being done by a team (LINK www.qmul.ac.uk/covidence) of doctors, scientists, public health specialists and health economists based at six universities across the UK - Queen Mary University of London, King’s College London, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Edinburgh University, Swansea University and Queen’s University Belfast.

What will it involve?

The data you provide will be linked to your medical records, to allow the study team to investigate whether coronavirus infection may affect long-term health.

Closing Date: Closed

Time Commitment: Completion of the questionnaire takes 30-60 minutes. After that, you will be contacted monthly via email to report possible symptoms of coronavirus disease.
