Patient Involvement
Find out what it means to get involved with Cancer Research UK through patient involvement. You can work with us, to shape, influence or guide projects as they develop. The insight of people affected by cancer and cancer patients is helping us to beat cancer while ensuring that we’re meeting the needs of patients and their families.

How much experience do I need?
You don’t need to have taken part in involvement opportunities before joining the network or getting involved. Your experience of cancer is what will add real value to our work, from your very first activity.
If you’d like to get involved in an opportunity, but are worried that you don’t have the skills, experience or confidence to take part, we will offer you support to do so.
