Why we need you:

Relay For Life is a team fundraising challenge, bringing communities together to beat cancer. Teams of family and friends fundraise for life-saving cancer research, then join an overnight celebration at the Harvey Hadden Stadium on 6th and 7th July 2019. We require volunteers who are willing to get involved in setting up the site on the Saturday and supporting the committee and helping to dismantle the site once the event closes on the Sunday.

What will I be doing?

We require people who can help set up e Survivor’s marquee by setting out the chairs and tables, dressing the marquee and the tables with cutlery and food. We also require individuals to help set up the site on Saturday morning by placing health awareness boards around the site and any other role the committee requires help with. We also require individuals to help for a couple of hours on  Sunday 7th to move chairs / cutlery / tables / bins and help clean up the stadium once the event has finished.

What skills do I need?

You need to have a genuine passion to help support the committee and to support Cancer Research UK

What support will we give you?

  • An induction on the day
  • We will reimburse agreed out of pocket expenses
