Collection Volunteer - Ashford and Canterbury - Various Dates

Canterbury and Ashford
Community-based roles
Time commitment:

Why we need you:

You can make a difference in as little as an hour by volunteering with your local collection team. It’s quick and easy, and makes a big impact. You'll help to fund amazing research to beat cancer sooner with every penny you collect.

What will I be doing?

You’ll join a local collection team to collect donations from the public over various weekends. Our collections take place in venues ranging from shopping centres and train stations, to stadiums and town centres.

Time Commitment

You can volunteer for as little or as much as you would like- you can choose which events you would like to volunteer at whether it's a couple or all of them! Our events are spread out across the year so we will let you know when an event is coming up.

What skills do I need?

Everyone is welcome and you don’t need any experience – just some energy, enthusiasm and a smile!

What support will we give you?

  • We’ll let you know when we have collections in your area and need your help
  • You’ll have the support of a local collection coordinator after signing up to collect. They’ll be in touch to arrange a collecting time with you and tell you everything you need to know
  • You’ll be given all the supplies you need for a great few hours of collecting.

Where will I be based?

Locations available at various Farmers markets and events in Ashford, Canterbury and, surrounding towns and villages.

Why we need you

Every step we make towards beating cancer relies on every pound, every hour and every person. We need you to help us by volunteering. Play a part in this inspiring story and volunteer. Help us to create more tomorrows.
