What will I be doing?

As a cheer point volunteer, you need to be ready to bring energy, make noise and cheer to everyone choosing to run in support of Cancer Research UK.
Not only will you be motivating the team to go that extra mile on the day, but also encouraging them to choose #TeamCRUK for their next challenge and inspiring others to take part in our future events. All of this, in turn, will help us fund out vital research and bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

What impact will this have?

Currently we know 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, but over the last 40 years, survival has doubled, so that today half will survive.
With your support we can further fund our life saving research to develop more effective and kinder treatments, which will one day help us achieve our ambition to accelerate progress and see three-quarters of people surviving the disease by 2034.
By volunteering with us, you can change the lives of those affected by cancer, as well as having a rewarding experience supporting Cancer Research UK.

Why we need you

Every step we make towards beating cancer relies on every pound, every hour and every person. We need you to help us by volunteering. Play a part in this inspiring story and volunteer. Help us to create more tomorrows.
