About the Big Half
Run part of the iconic London Marathon course on fully closed roads with The Big Half in September. You'll start at Tower Bridge, taking in the best sights of East London before finishing by the Cutty Sark in Greenwich.
Soak up the incredible atmosphere of this epic half marathon from the organisers of the London Marathon. The event is set to become one of the UK's biggest running events, so don't miss out on your chance to be on the start line of the second ever Big Half!

Why run for Cancer Research UK?
Bridie has taken on the Great North Run six times as part of Team Cancer Research UK. She fundraises in memory of her Dad, who died of bowel cancer.
My first runs were really hard, but I trained and persevered, and I got better. On the day of my first Great North Run I wore my Cancer Research UK vest with pride, I was so happy to be taking part. The atmosphere was amazing and crossing the finish line I was ecstatic! I was so proud of myself and how far I’d come. Every step is worth it. For every person we lose to cancer, it spurs me on even more to continue fundraising so that we can find a cure.
