About this event:

The Sunday Stroll is open to everyone! Join us for a walk around the stunning Pitfour Lake where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Walking distance is approximately 2k. The event is organised by the Relay For Life committee. They raise funds for the vital life-saving work that is done by Cancer Research UK. 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime, which is why Cancer Research UK are determined to continue their life-saving research. Covid-19 may have slowed them down, but cancer hasn’t stopped, so neither will they! So please help by joining us on this beautiful walk!

On the day:

There will be no on the day registration, cost for adults is £5 and £3 for under 18’s. All children under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
All participants will be provided with a hot drink or juice and a fancy piece! We will have some fab prizes for the raffle up for grabs, tickets can be purchased on arrival, contactless payment is preferred. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead to protect the swans in the lake.

**IMPORTANT** The health and safety of our participants remains a top priority. With this in mind, we ask all participants to book an hourly time slot for starting their walk. This enables us to limit the number of people arriving at the same time, to give everyone space and to facilitate physical distancing. Please ensure that you approach the registration table no earlier or later than your selected time frame. If you are meeting someone else, you can meet in groups of six people from six households. Under 12’s do not count in these numbers.

Please refer to the event rules for further information. Participants taking part should do so safely and in full accordance with all government guidance. Please refer to the latest guidance here: https://www.gov.scot/coronavirus-covid-19/
