Top tips for Marathon Month Challenge

Warm-up and cool down
Start slow and always do a few warm-up stretches before and after every run to prevent injury.

Drink water
Covering 26.2 mules is thirsty work! Stay hydrated by drinking water before and after your run.

Pace yourself
Start with a shorter runs then increase gradually as the month goes on. Remeber to take rest days at least one a week to let your body recover.

Wear the right clothing
Ensure you have correct fitting trainers, comfortable clothing and remember to consider the weather before heading out.

Get enough sleep
Being more active day-to-day can help improve the quality of your sleep. Make sure you give your body the rest it needs after running!

Team up
There’s no greater motivation than running together as a group. Spread the word to your friends and family and get them to sign up too!

Fuel your body
Make sure you're eating well to keep your body energised, by consuming healthy, protein-rich meals.

Plug in
Listen to your favourite podcast or playlist when you're gettign in your miles to keep you motivated
