How it works

1. Donate £20 to enter

Donate now

Donate to enter to the challenge by making a £20 donation to our life-saving cancer research and recieve your digital badge.

2. Cycle 50 miles

Complete the distance over a week in a way that suits you. Indoors or outdoors - you decide. Please follow latest government advice around social distancing when cycling.

3. Spread the word

Let everyone know you've helped towards beating cancer by sharing photos on social using #Cycle50 and nominate others to take part too!

You can cycle the miles in a way that suits you whether that's on an indoor bike or in the great outdoors, 10 miles a day or longer cycles over a few days - it's up to you.

Make sure you follow the latest government guidelines on exercise and social distancing.

If you don’t have a GPS device, your phone will have plenty of apps to track the distance you covered.

Strava, MapMyRide and Google Maps are all free and highly recommended apps that let you plan your route and track your distance but there are plenty more to choose from.

Taking on the challenge with friends and family is a great way to motivate you to complete the miles. However, we encourage you to go on your cycle rides alone, due to current social distancing guidelines, and checking in virtually with your team members.

Once you've signed up we'll send you a link via email to set up a Cancer Research UK Giving Page if you would like to also collect sponsorship for your challenge. You can then share your Giving Page with your friends and family so they can sponsor you.
