About this event:

Mollie Hughes South Pole Expedition. Please join us for an inspiring evening with mountaineer and adventurer Mollie Hughes as she shares her world record breaking attempt story for the first time of being the youngest women to ski solo and unsupported to the South Pole.

Mollie has an inspirational story to share, not only will she have recently skied 720 miles to the South Pole, she also successfully reached the Summit of Mount Everest from the North and the South side in 2012 and 2017 at the age of 26, making her the youngest woman in the world and the first English woman to successfully summit from both sides of the worlds highest mountain.

Mollie is raising awareness and funds for women's cancers so the evening will also include a keynote speech from a Cancer Research UK funded scientist, who will share advances that are being achieved thanks to research.
