With multiple distances available, this is the perfect event for both new and experienced triathletes.  You'll swim, bike and run your way through the beautiful Shropshire and Welsh countryside, before finishing in scenic Ellesmere.

The Shropshire Triathlon is also part of the UK Triathlon CRUK Wave, a  wave dedicated to raising money for CRUK. The CRUK Wave is aimed at encouraging more participants, of any age, gender or ability, to unite and take on a challenge for the purpose of funding life-saving research into all 200 types of cancer. 

For each CRUK Wave entry, UK Tri donates £10 (incl. VAT) to CRUK. This can have a huge impact – did you know that 10 CRUK Wave entries could cover the cost of testing one patient to diagnose early stages of oesophageal cancer?

Super Sprint:  200m swim - 24k cycle - 2.5k run

Sprint: 750m swim - 24k cycle - 5k run

Olympic: 1500m swim - 39k cycle - 10k run

Middle Distance: 2000m swim - 78k cycle - 20k run
