Enjoy the exciting mix of coast, city and parks whilst you run to help us beat cancer sooner at the ABP Southampton Marathon.

This marathon is perfect for a debut marathon, incorporating a diverse mix of coast, city and parks. Being predominantly flat, the 2 lapped route allows you to have twice the fun and lets you know what is coming up next.

The new route will also allow you to get the chance to run over the Itchen Bridge, where at almost 100ft high, you will experience a feast for the eyes. With beautiful views of the city and out to sea, you may even get to see the Isle of Wight with clear skies. Run through the huge expanse of the common, wear your CRUK top proudly and celebrate your glorious finish at the Guildhall in the city centre.

This event is an ideal choice for first time marathon runners and an exciting new course for seasoned pro’s alike. With approximately 10,000 runners expected for this event, you can be sure of a great atmosphere on the course!

Not quite ready for the full marathon? Why not take on the Southampton Half Marathon, also on the same day?
