Help out on the day
The Great Manchester Run Half Marathon is a fantastic 13.1 mile route taking in the Etihad Stadium, Old Trafford & the Mancunian Way.
The Great Manchester Run Half Marathon is one of the newest Great Run events and with live bands and Cancer Research UK cheer points along route, it is the perfect event for taking the next step on your running journey.
The start line is on Portland Street near the junction with Oxford Street and will take in the views of Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium, the award-winning Imperial War Museum and The Lowry. You will also pass the famous cobbles of Coronation Street’s new set and the remarkable landmark the Beetham Tower, the 47-storey skyscraper which almost marks the finish line.
If you don’t feel ready for the half marathon then don’t worry as The Great Manchester Run 10k takes place on the same day and entries are now open.
Sooner or later we will beat cancer, help us make it sooner by securing your place today.
