I decided to leave a gift in my Will to Cancer Research UK because it’s my way of saving thank you. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2007, when my children were nine and ten years old. Following treatment, I decided to take part in a clinical trial, and I felt secure in the knowledge that I’d be closely monitored. I received a huge amount of support from Cancer Research UK and without the pioneering new treatments I might not be here now.
