The UK’s Biggest White Collar Boxing events have been supporting Cancer Research UK since 2013 and are set to raise a huge £15million by the end of 2018. Boxers raise money through sponsorship, and charity auctions and raffles are held at the UWCB events to raise as much money as possible to help beat cancer sooner.
UWCB have recently expanded their event portfolio to include Ultra Mixed Martial Arts, and Ultra Ballroom and are aiming to raise an incredible £20million across all events in the next few years
Fashion and beauty
The fashion retailer M&Co has been working tirelessly to fundraise for Cancer Research UK since 2008, and to date, M&Co have helped us to raise over £3 million for our life-saving research and we are delighted to have been chosen by employees as M&Co’s National Partner until August 2020.
Gillette Venus are a Race for Life CRM partner, who have worked with us since 2014, where 50p from each pack of their Olay Sugarberry and Embrace razors sold in Tesco during a limited time period was donated to Cancer Research UK. In addition, Gillette Venus included Race for Life on a TV ad during this period, really helping to reinforce their association with the UK’s number one female fundraising series. Peacocks, a British clothing retailer, have committed to raising £100,000 in the partnerships first year. They will be raising funds through participating in events, employee fundraising, and through commercial activity. Peacocks will also support Cancer Research UK in raising awareness of the lifestyle factors associated with cancer, by promoting cancer prevention messaging to both employees and customers.
Retail and leisure
We are delighted to be the official national charity partner of The Works, a family friendly retailer that offers good quality great value on books, toys, hobbies, stationery, art and craft supplies, gifts and more. In less than 1 year, The Works have already raised £100,000 for our life-saving research. The Works will be continuing their fundraising this year through employee fundraising and a range of fantastic CRM products.
The world's largest live entertainment company have been supporting us since 2008 through Festival Donations and staff fundraising and have raised over £1.2 million to date to help us beat cancer sooner!
John Lewis Gift List holders can choose to donate to our life saving research into cancer as part of their gift list. All donations raised will go towards our mission to save more lives by preventing, controlling and curing cancer. Since launching the partnership in January 2013 the John Lewis gift list has raised over £220,000 to help beat cancer sooner.
Ticketmaster.co.uk is the market leader in online ticket purchasing in the UK. Ticketmaster support Cancer Research UK through a donation option on selected concerts and events, which has raised over £100,000 to date, thanks to the generosity of Ticketmaster’s customers.
Accessible bathroom specialist Mobility Plus has raised over £560,000 for Cancer Research UK – for every bathroom they fit, they donate £100 to help our life saving work.
Launched in 2013, our partnership with weight loss organisation Slimming World aims to raise awareness of the links between obesity and cancer, inspiring people to eat healthily and become more active. Slimming World have raised over £2 million in funds and donated stock over the last two years.
Kiqplan™ is proud to be the official fitness plan partner of Race for Life 2015. Kiqplan™ will be helping ladies across the country prepare for their 5k, 10k or Pretty Muddy events with bespoke 6 week training plans and a 12 week coaching programme app to help RFL ladies get race-ready.
Our partnership with Winkbingo and the Peter Andre Fund started in 2015 and aims to raise over £50,000 in the first 6 months. The money will be raised through the sale of bingo games as well as a social media campaign. All funds raised through this partnership will help fund our Cancer Awareness Roadshow units, helping people from across the UK have access to vital cancer awareness information.
Edwardian Group London
Edwardian Group London has chosen Cancer Research UK to be its charity partner for the next 3 years and will be supporting the building of the cutting-edge Francis Crick Institute.
Food and drink
We are delighted that Zizzi are supporting Stand Up to Cancer over the next 3 years to help us beat cancer sooner.Customers in all Zizzi restaurants are able to add a 25p donation to their bill for Cancer Research UK. It’s really easy to do and since May 2014 this alone has raised over an incredible £100,000.
The Pampered Chef
The Pampered Chef has been supporting Cancer Research UK since 2007 through their annual Help Whip Cancer Campaign. Every October, 2,000 independent consultants sell a range of limited edition pink kitchen products and host fundraising parties all to raise money to support our Breast Cancer Research. So far The Pampered Chef have raised an amazing £1.5 million for Cancer Research UK.
Aqua Pura are entering their sixth consecutive year of sponsorship of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life series and will continue to keep participants hydrated with a free bottle of water at the end of each of our 5k, 10k and Pretty Muddy events in 2015.
Brioche Pasquier are back as proud supporters of Race for Life 2015 for the third year and are encouraging recruitment and fundraising. Every participant of our Race for Life event series this year will once again receive a brioche sample at the finish line as a thank you.
Percol Coffee Co.
Percol Coffee Co. is helping to perk up the nation and raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK with their new coffee, Percol 100%. By donating 100% of profits from the product. Percol Coffee has committed to raising at least £50,000 a year on top of their ongoing event activities. We’re delighted to have them on board!
RBS Group has been an ongoing partner of Cancer Research UK since 2002 and to date, the relationship has generated over £7million.
HSBC employees and customers have supported Cancer Research UK through ATM donations, payroll giving and employee fundraising since 2006. HSBC also supports the Francis Crick Institute, a state-of-the-art biomedical research facility that opened in London in November 2016. Six of the world’s leading scientific research organisations, including Cancer Research UK, came together to found the Institute, with HSBC donating USD25 million over five years to the Francis Crick Institute via Cancer Research UK
