JUSTGIVING
How do I set up my JustGiving page?
When you first sign up, Cancer Research UK will send you an email.
This will include a link to set up your very own JustGiving page, which will be linked directly to the event that your taking part in.
Simply click on the link, fill in your details, and away you go.
If you no longer have the email, then please email us along with name of the event that you are taking part in. We will happily send you another link.
Facebook asked me to set up a ‘Facebook Fundraiser’ for Cancer Research UK. Is that ok?
When you share your JustGiving page on Facebook, you might be prompted to set up a Facebook Fundraiser. Please select no.
Any funds raised through a ‘Facebook Fundraiser’ will not be linked to your Ultra Event, and will not be included in your fundraising.
I have set up a JustGiving page, however it is not linked to the correct event.
If you set up a JustGiving page, without following the link that we sent to you – then it will not be linked to the event that you are taking part in.
This means that we will not know how much you have raised, and it will not be included in your team’s total.
But never fear – pop us an email to explain, and we will link it up to the correct event.
My event has been postponed. What happens to the money I have raised already?
In the unlikely event that your event is postponed, and you would like to transfer your JustGiving page over to the next event, then please send us an email explaining this. We can link your JustGiving page to the next event.
As soon as a donation is made to your JustGiving page – it goes straight to Cancer Research UK. If you would like your donations to be refunded then please let us know.
Can I use an existing fundraising page?
No. You will need to set up a new JustGiving page, using the link that we email to you. This will mean that your page is linked to the event you are taking part in. It also means we can see how much you have raised, and we can congratulate you if you are the Top Fundraiser for your event!
