Beyond the Lab is bringing our research to the East Midlands

Be part of a brand new event, where we bring our research to life in your community

Where: Kelham Hall and Country Park, Main Road, Kelham, Newark-On-Trent, Nottinghamshire, NG23 5QX

What time: 6pm -8:30pm (registration open from 5:30pm)

Experience a lab tour including a LIVE streamed Q&A with a Cancer Research UK scientist

Connect with fellow Cancer Research UK volunteers and supporters from across the East Midlands

Light refreshments will be provided

We welcome East Midlands volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds

How to find us

The venue address is: Kelham Hall and Country Park, Main Road, Kelham, Newark-On-Trent, Nottinghamshire, NG23 5QX (this venue is accessible for wheelchair users)

Car: Kelham Hall is located 10 minutes from the A1.

From A1 Northbound: Take Junction marked Newark A46, at the roundabout turn right onto A46(S). Follow for approximately 2.5 miles. Take A617 Kelham Road (from Newark bypass roundabout). Follow road for 2 miles before turning left into Kelham Hall & Country Park.

From A1 Southbound: Take Junction marked Newark A46, at the roundabout turn left onto A46(S). Then at the next roundabout turn right keeping on A46(S) Follow for approximately 2.5 miles. Take A617 Kelham Road (from Newark bypass roundabout). Follow road for 2 miles before turning left into Kelham Hall & Country Park.

Train: the nearest train station is Newark Castle and is a 10 minute taxi ride away.

Bus: There are two buses that run near Kelham Hall the 28 and 29 and you will need to get off at the stop called Ollerton Road stop and there is a short walk to Kelham Hall. 

We recommend travelling by car where possible.
