Who we are
The Philanthropy and Partnerships department is made up of 5 teams:
We secure and develop strategic partnerships with other organisations that create mutually beneficial outcomes. Some of our most successful partnerships include the likes of Scottish Power, Tesco, TK Maxx, Nivea and Slimming World.
We provide the tools to create unique connections between our prospects and CRUK through our world-class stewardship programme and our series of fantastic high value events. We use our expertise to help our relationship managers understand our prospects, donors and fundraising activity and create unique connections.
We create and develop innovative High Value fundraising campaigns, events and partnerships. We work with celebrities (current partnerships include Peter Kay, Seb Coe & Jenson Button), committees and commercial partners and we also design and deliver special events, such as the Emeralds and Ivy Ball for the Marie Keating Foundation.
We foster relationships with individuals who are giving, or have the potential to give, personal donations between £250 and £10,000 a year. We create a unique journey for our supporters by blending mass marketing and relationship fundraising techniques. Right now we are currently undertaking the biggest piece of research happening in the sector about mid value audiences.
We are responsible for securing gifts ranging from £10k upwards from individual supporters and charitable trusts. We build individual relationships with supporters to understand their needs and motivations and generate income from face to face asks. We have just completed a record breaking £100 million ‘Create the Change’ campaign for the Francis Crick Institute, a research super-lab in the heart of London, and are looking forward to building on this success.
