I had my lumpectomy and lymphnode biopsy on the 2nd September, I have my results on Wednesday. 

I have grade 2 invasive ductal carcinoma er+7 pr+7 and HER2 3+ positive. 

Did they not tell you in your results appointment after the surgery wether there would be chemo?

Hi thanks for reply, i was told lump out and lymph node clear, but i have appt to see oncologist to see wheither i need chemo or just radium and hrmine blockers. Have to wait till next week to see . Did you see oncologist for onco test on tumour?

I haven’t seen oncologist yet just the surgeons they said they that would be after my surgery. So I’m hoping I will find out tomorrow.

Next week im seeing oncologist to find out treatment plan im just tired and stressed with all the waiting had two surgeries  , since july and still waiting to find out whats happening!! its hard not to feel down with all this worrying!!

i hope this the wait goes quickly for you. I find that the hardest part the waiting and not knowing.

i went to see my surgeon yesterday. 

The surgery went well my margins and lymph nodes were clear but it was twice the size they thought it was and they have upgraded it to grade 3. Next is chemo and then radio, Herceptin for 5 years and tamoxifen for 10 years. 

So now I have to wait for my oncologist appointment and an echocardiogram before we even know when the chemo starts. 

I’m having my eyebrows microbladed tomorrow as I don’t think I could cope with no eyebrows and I’m useless with make up. I haven’t even mastered foundation yet  

how are you feeling today?

Hi im so happy for you to get clear margin and lymph nodes. Thats brilliant . I got my eyebrows microbladed last year sometime, well worth it as i plucked most away for years!! Its so handy, and i look more human with eyebrows!! best of luck with your next appt. Cant wait to get my appt done next eek, would like to get started now, scar and healing looks ready i think? Just come across this and wondered if you'd had your oncology app yet? I just had my pathology back and also had lymphovascular invasion and not sure what that will mean in terms of treatment.

I had grade 1 idc and a much larger area of dcis.

Hate all the waiting....

Hi  i just had my appt with oncologist today, and  regarding the vascular invasion he said its so tiny that it cant be found in mammogram or ultrasound, only under the microscope. Not something to worry about. My onco test came back with a score of 21 so its just on the borderline for chemo. He has given me the choice but i dont know what to do?
