I'm not sure what tests you had done. But I had breast biopsies. When I had them taken the nurse told me that all results went before a Multi Disciplinary Team before being given to patient. This was regardless of the findings. So in my case, benign or not. My results app was scheduled for 2 weeks after the tests were done. They said this was standard procedure in my particular clinic as the MDT meet once a week. 
 

I hope you don't have to wait too much longer for your results.
