Are there any other helpers there if yes try to sort a rota if needed. If struggling try macmillan or Marie curie but you might have to go through a doctor to get them hope you get sorted best of luck.

Hello Bella and thanks for your post

I'm sorry to read about your mom. This must be an incredibly difficult time for you both.

There is no right or wrong way to feel when a loved one is affected by cancer. We can all feel a bit helpless in this situation. People can vary in the emotions that they may experience and we have a section on our website on emotions and cancer and you can read more about this here.

It is written for people with cancer but can apply to relatives as well.Another charity Macmillan Cancer Support has some further information at this link.

The main thing is to make sure that you have enough support around you. So,please speak to family or someone you are close to as I'm sure they would want to support you.

I hope this helps a little at this difficult time and if we can help in any other way please do contact us again.  If you would prefer to speak to one of the nurses directly, you can telephone us on 0808 800 4040.  We are here from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Kind regards,
