Hot Topics is the name we've given to this new area of Cancer Chat.
We will use this forum to bring you interesting stories, Cancer Research UK news and updates on the latest in science and research. You are welcome to post comments and discuss any of the hot topics featured and we will also bring in other experts from around the charity to answer your questions
In the next few weeks we will use this forum for some exciting Q&A sessions on a variety of topics including science, research, fundraising and policy which we hope will give you an inside look at the work we do at Cancer Research UK.
We hope you enjoy the opportunity to debate some of the more interesting subjects but would remind everyone that our normal house rules apply and if we do feel things are getting too overheated we will close the topic and remove the offending posts.
We thought we'd kick off with one of the more controversial subjects, diet. Can diet help beat cancer? We've all seen headlines about things we eat or drink that can (and can't) prevent cancer, but here our bloggers look at a more complex topic, what to eat when you have cancer
I hope you find it interesting and we look forward to reading your comments
