Hi I've had a whirlwind few days, I've not felt well for about a year and have been numerous times to the gp, finally one seemed to listen to me and started tests. Fri teatime I went for a general ultrasound, which turned into an internal ultrasound as well, anyway I seemed to be ages and they said it looked like I need referring to gynaecology. By the time I got home my gp had rang to ask me to go in Mon morning!
So off I go today and I'm told they think I have endometrial cancer! The doctor was lovely and talked me through it all and then told me she was referring me on a 2wk urgent referral.
Think it's only just sinking in, I know it's not a definite diagnosis until they do a biopsy, I suppose I'm just wondering what I should expect to happen next?
