the article on Tumeric is a farce. Curcumin is effective against cancer but Tumeric is a Curcumin derivative that has no effect.
Which article is that?
I thought that curcumin was a chemical derived from turmeric rhizomes.
There is some evidence of its efficacy as a possible cancer treatment, but whether it can be developed into a workable therapy is so far unknown. Cancer Research UK has an information page about Turmeric/Curcumin.
From the page, it appears that there are problems with getting a standardised amount of curcumin to be absorbed by the patient, making self-medication very much hit and miss, and as always, an anti-cancer effect against one type of cancer doesn't mean that it's effective against all other cancers, too.
