Is anyone one else having problems posting/ answering ... or things going on twice ... confused dot com ...
Really sorry Chriss there seems to be a problem this weekend which I have flagged and which will be investigated.
It's incredibly frustrating, isn't it?
Thank you for your patience everyone while we sort it out - with the weekend, it might take a little longer.

PS: Hoping this message gets through and doesn't post 4 times
Has anyone had any trouble with posting? It lets me reply to other people's posts but every time I try to post my own things, I write it all out, click on 'post now' and the whole thing disapears.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
Hi there being me I've noticed it a couple of times but thought it was me not touching reply right or something, sometimes i had to touch reply twice, if you watch it and it does not go to the string touch again,, good luck.
I've tried to click on the link that you posted but on my laptop it keeps saying 'pop up blocked' so I can't look at it unfortunatly. I haven't been able to post on here for about 2 months because it hasn't been letting me. The only thing I can do is reply to threads (like now) ,I can't write my own posts. I particulary want to at the moment because on the 5th of July, I was told that my cancer is terminal and I've got 6 - 9 months left.
Hi there ...
Oh bless ya ... so so sorry you've been given that news ... you must be so down right now ... and your thoughts all over the place ...
You are welcome to post on my thread or if it's easier I can start a thread for you if you tell me what you want as a heading ... you could use this place as somewhere to go to put your thoughts down ..
But remember there's quite a few regulars on here pushing their diagnosis a lot further then they thought ... there's @billygoat ... and @Dave ... so you show em, you do the same ... sending you a vertual hug.. Chrissie ❤ xx
Thank you, I appreicate that.
Yes I am all over the place at the moment but I'm just trying to deal with it the best I can. I just want to make my days count now becauase time is very precious.
Hi beingme,, as chrissie says they don't always get it right how are you feeling lately that can make a difference don't give in to it keep fighting, there's a lot on here giving it a good hiding, i was told i would need more cemo before the first year was up that was 3 1/2 year's ago i still haven't had any, I'm living a normal life and still fighting fit apart from getting older and rumatics, don't believe every thing they tell you there only guessing, just like we would, keep fighting and best wishes.
Yeah, it's just a lot for me to take in. I'm dealing with it alright but I do get very emotional a lot of the time and since they told me, I have been crying a lot.
Yeah, I just want to do as much as I can whilst I still can but it's very hard because I'm in constant pain
Get in touch with GP or specialist to give you something a bit stronger if being in pain makes you feel worse not better, phone up Monday get something sorted,. Best wishes.
A palliative care nurse came round on Friday to see me and I told her about my pain. I've had pain since I was diagnosed (nearly 7 months ago) and I've been put on several different types of painkillers without much relief.
I was put on some more stronger ones on Friday but at the moment, I'm still not getting much relief from them
Hi there ...
I've been following your threads and you've had more then your fare share of things happening around you too ... cancer sucks big time ...
You need to get your pain under control first ... get in touch with your oncology team and tell them just how much pain your in ... try Marie Currie too .. they are there for people with your diagnosis and their families ... reach out toeveryone you can ... maybe ask for councilling as that could really help ....
I'm sure you've got someone watching over you right now .. you may not see him but I bet he's there ... I felt my mum when I was at my lowest... none of us know if we have tomorrow... cancer or fit and healthy .. so try to think of things you still want to do .. that's what I did when I thought I'd not long left ...
This is a time to mend bridges ... tell people what's in your heart .. make every day a memory day ... and tell yourself it's o.k to feel anything .. scream / share tears / and know it's normal ... there's lots here will hold your hand ... hopefully a @Moderator Ben or any other ones will pop by to get your thread started .. Chrissie xx
I am very sorry to hear that you are having issues posting new threads at a time when you need it the most. It's strange too that you were not able to click on the link that Ben posted. Is there a way of allowing this pop up - it may be a setting on your computer that needs to be adjusted. In the meantime, I thought I would copy below the post that Ben was referring to to see if that helps you.
Back in April an issue was flagged by a few members where if you started a new thread and then selected the topic area your post vanishes. In view of this, while we complete the investigation we are recommending a temporary solution which seems to resolve the problem.
Rather than trying to start a discussion from the homepage,
Go to the topic area of your choice
Click on 'Post to Forum' and proceed as before and then it will work fine - the post will appear.
I hope this helps and apologise for any inconvenience caused while we try to fix this problem
Fingers crossed this resolves your particular issues. If not, do let us know. I am so sorry to hear that you have been told that your cancer is terminal and wanted to let you know that you can count on the support of the Cancer Chat community at all times.
Hopefully you can get posting new threads on the forum again soon.
