No, I've finished treatment and am otherwise well. Just worried about Covid.

I can understand why you would want to know for certain whether you should be shielding or not given your circumstances. It might also depend on where you are living in the UK too and whether you happen to be in a high risk area. It is mentioned on our coronavirus shielding advice page that if you happen to be living in a very high alert level area, you might be asked to shield again and the government normally writes to you to ask to shield. So it will depend on the Covid Alert Level in your local area. You can find more detailed guidance on shielding on the government website on this page. I hope that you will hear from other teachers who find themselves in a similar situation. As there have been many confirmed cases within your school both amongst students and staff, it would maybe be a good idea - especially as you worried about this - to talk to your doctor and ask whether you are at an increased risk working in an environment where the virus is actively circulating.
