Hi had invasive lobular cancer had it removed had radiation been on tamoxifen for 6 months now but gettin red hot flushes joint pain hair loss fatigue and insomnia any one else get these side effects
I've been on Tamoxifen for a year now, side effects are a pain... I get fatigue, headaches, nausea, dizziness, bouts of tamoxifen rage, memory problems, very emotional, joint pain, insomnia, hair loss and loss of appetite for days sometimes weeks at a time. I probably have a few more that aren't coming to mind just now... You can speak to your oncologist if they are getting particularly bad... mine reduced my dosage from 20mg to 10mg... still have the side effects but some are not as intense as before. From what I have read, it's something that we just need to put up with, unless you really want off it, as my oncologist told me, there is nothing to say that your cancer will ever come back if you're not on it but there's also nothing to say it won't, it's a kind of just in case drug.
