Hi all,I was sent for an urgent appointment with a consultant after a sore on my mouth wasn't shifting after about six weeks,he wanted me to have a biopsy there and then,I'm still waiting for the results,it will be two weeks on Wednesday since I had it.has anyone  here had mouth cancer and could maybe talk about the initial symptoms,I just want the results as I'm so worried

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. The waiting for results is never easy so I can certainly understand this must be unsettling.

    I'm not sure what timeframe you were given in which to expect results, but if that passes then you can always call the hospital to check.

    Try to keep yourself busy where possible to help keep your mind off things while you wait. I hope you're able to find out more soon.
