Okay i do feel quite lucky that i didnt have to have chemo and am on my top up sessions for radiation therapy. Not only is my skin burning, i have really bad fatigue & feel feverish. I am crumbling today & just wanna cry! I know I'm towards the end of treatment but its not easy.

  • I'm so sorry to hear you're suffering side effects from the radiation therapy you're having at the moment Jbains. It can be very tough but I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone and we're here to support you every step of the way. I have found some general information about looking after your skin during radiotherapy on our website here as well information about coping with tiredness which I hope will help you at this time as well.

    Thank you. The skin is very dark & i have been really religious about putting cream on even before my treatment started. Shooting pains are there & expected but to top it all - i now have a bad cold with fever & vomiting. Guess my immune system is not coping. Am kind of sick & tired of not feeling well.
