Preventative Chemo - Testicular Cancer

Hi guys,

Had original op on 9th August and developed a haemotoma post op that was operated on ten days ago so still slowly recovering from that.

I have a stage one seminoma and met Oncologist who advised I should have preventative chemo (one course), The tumour was a lot bigger than picked up on ultrasound and they have a cut off - if it is over 4cm then they suggest chemo.

I am told it reduces chances of reoccurrence but it is still chemo.

Has anyone had a similar experience? And if so, what path did you choose?

I need to weigh up pros and cons.

Thanks,

Nick
