Hi bit of a strange question I know but I keep seeing people suggest phoning free phone line on here is it free for mobiles or just landlines

Hi Berylia,

I think I might be able to answer your question. Happy

The phone line - 0808 800 4040 - for our cancer nurses is free to call from landlines within the UK, however there might be a charge from your service provider if you call using your mobile number.

I hope this helps.

Best wishes,

Hi thank you yes was helpful.my poor little brain can't work out simple things sometimes.just so fed up

Waiting is horrible you think your probably ready  to start treatment or even be told what it is then hospital request a pet scan no appointment yet then another wait results then probably another week for MDT meeting then probably another wait . I'm under my local hospital for bowel cancer and another hospital for secondary liver cancer which they say is priority over bowel op nut just seems nothing happens .I know it probably is behind scenes but is six weeks since colonoscopy.is this normal time I know they probably snowed under with workloads etc .

Hi Berylia

Just hopping on to say that you can call our nurses on the number Moderator Renata gave you and also that it is a freephone number and that applies to mobiles too!

Hope it helps
