PARTNER WITH TONSIL CANCER

My partner is recovering from tonsil cancer had chemo and radio on the positivee he is feeling a lot better but my worry is the dizzy spells he is experiencing and also tingling on his fingers and toes (not at the same time) .  Is this normal and just part of the recovery maybe due to still not eating a lot .

thanks

Michelle

  • Hi Michelle....Good to hear your partner is recovering well..my hubby had stage 4 throat cancer last year and got the all clear in September and is back at work full time and his eating is all back to normal..but he still suffers with the tingling in the fingers and toes and was told this could last for years..it’s nerve damage from the chemo treatment..it’s called peripheral neuropathy..he used to get the dizziness but that’s now gone but he does suffer with tinnitus

I’m here if you have any questions

    Best wishes

  • HI Tina

    Great news about your hubby.

Thanks for the heads up abut the tingling cant remember if he was initially told about that but at least we now know it isnt anything to worry about.  Also the dizziness that is easing for him thought it might be due to him not eating .  He was told about the tinnitus but luckily he hasn't had it hope it eases for your hubby.

    Appreciate it and take care.
