Opening in scar

Has anyone else had this problem - Last Friday I noticed and felt a pink part of my vertical hysterectomy scar. It’s now Monday and I’m off tomorrow to see my doctor, as it’s got worse and is very sore. I have my final chemo session this week, and I’m worried it will be put back. I don’t have a temperature. I had my hysterectomy on 29th May.

This is a reply to myself! My oncologist has said I can have my last chemo this week. Yippee!

So sorry that you have had to reply to yourself. I have read your earlier posts telling of your ovarian and lung cancer and would like to wish you all the best with your last chemo.You seem to be a very positive and brave 76 year old which has probably helped you through your surgery and treatment.

Thankyou for your very kind words. Yes, I am a positive person on the whole, although sometimes this whole cancer thing gets you down!
