Hi whistable

Well Not what anyone wants t hear no clear margins but.... jbains is right it’s new t u but not t them so they have the next steps well in hand.

I had clear margins but I did have 2 lumps - mine where picked up at the ultrasound stage so was sent t have an MRI of both boobs to have a closer look- they don’t want t miss anything so this is a good thing. Mine came back as just the 2 originally identified... then had my op. U are doing it other way around op then MRI. There was the potential of me having chemo but once they were happy they had got it all decided not necessary - fingers crossed same for u.

My daughters friend did not have clear margins from her op she too got booked for another op- so u are not the only one this has happened to. It was because of hearing about her I was kinda prepped for the possibility of mine not being clear..sometimes it’s less of a shock if we are aware it’s a possibility.

We r all here if u need to chat when is yr mri- I had my appt for the  results  of the mri before I went for scan so knew only had t wait a wk for results. X

Nice to hear from you again. Was begiining to wonder how you were getting on. Every one I know seems to have had some form of lurge in the last couple of weeks, unfortunately I guess for those doing chemo, your immune system is shot so anything like that will fell you. So two weeks til you know if you can have surgery, I’ll cross everything for you!

Brill helps knowing the plan. Sound same as daughters friend did - she’s gone for hol before op.

Everyone is different but what I did was live my normal life between the tests, appointments, ops oooohhh nd all the other waiting we have to do. This helped me keep grounded and to deal with one thing at a time. I decided all the angst in the world would not change an outcome so live life. Hope u to find your comfort zone whatever it may be nd u enjoy that hol girl x

Another week completed. Next tit tat removal session tomorrow morning at 9, seemed a good idea at the time to make an early appointment...

Got some vouchers for the Spa at the nearest village hotel so having a facial tomorrow afternoon. Askedof the bcn’s about whether I could have a massage and she said that would be OK as enough time had lapsed since surgery, consistency would be nice! Asked one of the staff at th spa if I would have to lie on my stomach and she said yes, errr no, still can’t do that so facial instead but it's a bit of pampering.

Ah brill rileyroo

means to the end u want:-)

ooh a facial love it. Not keen on Indian head massage which is a shame reckon we could have that no bother lol. We yr vouchers an Xmas gift... brill gift if yes:-)

So not asked anyone yet  did nurse say how long after op u could have a massage. Is it just a comfort thing? Not going on spa break till feb so approx 4.5 months post op for me. I know can only go in jacuzzi for around  5 mins cos of lymph nodes. To b honest more about quite time away with meals cooked quiet walks, swimming lounging round drinking wine nd ... a few treatments hmmmm bliss.

Do u feel better this eeek at work?

Oooh nd everything lol x

She just said enough time had passed for it not to be a problem. You’re only a couple of weeks behind me so hopefully the same will apply to you, too. Vouchers were an xmas present from son. Agree, it’s the time away with no pressure that’s important, not the treatments.

Tigercub - hope you feel better soon - there are alot of bad viruses going around. I send you loads of strength and positivity. Keep us posted on results. Shall keep you all in my prayers. Yes, it's my birthday and my son booked posh afternoon tea in affluent central London area so daughter and I went. Now going to go out with family for dinner so well spoiled. Looking back at last year - am damn proud how far I've come! Rileyroo that sounds amazing. I still can't lie on me front either or too far onto right side. I think there's still fluid there so looked into it and am going to go for Oncology massage. Apparently it helps with fluid draining as well and is in London so brill. Left message so waiting for them to ring back. This year is all about self improvement and try to get my life back. I do want one thing for my bday and that is anyone battling cancer wins and doesn't suffer too much.
