Funnily enough i seem to have lost weight? The pace has been hectic to say the least but enjoying every moment of my son here and us together. It's gonna rip my heart out when he goes. Hope you all had a lovely time and I actually missed our daily messages to each other. Hope you're merry and well.

Think mine has stopped yo yo ing, at least I know what I can wear now!  Been to Doncaster today, lunch with daughter, hardly seen her this Christmas as she has been visiting boyfriend’s family as well. Bought some new boots, need to take a hammer to them to soften the leather round the back of the heels but that could be fun!

Leaflet turned up from hospital today, information about Lymphoedema! How to end the year with a bang!

I got boots for xmas but we hit sales on boxing day in central London and gave up after an hour! Might go tomorrow. Became a bit unwell yesterday but a bit of a rest day today as I cannot keep the pace. Watch the post and still no letter! Had mammo 2 weeks ago and I know due to xmas period it'll be another couple of weeks. Just anxious I guess. Glad to see the back of this year. Stay warm as it's absolutely freezing!

You’re bound to be anxious after what you’ve been through and waiting is never easy.

A bit if self tlc needed maybe?

I’m going to Manchester tomorrow to see foster son, he couldn’t get back for Christmas as he was working, same again new years eve so I’m getting the train across late in the morning. Will be back around 9 tomorrow evening.

Probably rain, it usually does but then Manchester does have that reputation!

Evening ladies:-)

glad u had a good time:-) totally worth the build up.

We had a rpt of Xmas day on Boxing Day, food wise- lovely family time:-).... then daughter got a call to let her know 1 of her friends had committed suicide(35). What is it that ignites the spark in some people to wring out the very last second of their lives while in others the spark is extinguished and they feel they cannot live a second longer:-(

Hold your loved ones close in your heart and never let the contact of a hug pass you by.

Sorry for the sad post peeps.

take care x

Sorry to hear about this Sandra, suicide is something I’m unfamiliar with, thank god.

Completely agree with your post, particularly for some one of that age who is healthy. I start to waiver when it comes to people who have mnd for example who don’t want to be kept alive when their bodies are no longer able to function at a basic level.

I hope your daughter is coping with the news.

Thank you  rileyroo.

We are ok. I cannot even comprehend how their family are coping (found by their family Christmas morning).

It snowed here today and we were all out building snowmen.... strange how life just continues...albeit a bit less bright. X

Can’t even begin to think how they managing. Did she have any children?

Had a covering of snow but not enough to build snow men. Been to Doncaster today, certainly more of the white stuff over there. Went to the cemetery where the outlaws are buried and had a carvery lunch with daughter then a bit of outlet shopping. I got some boots! Usually have problems getting them to zip up, my legs have been described as sturdy in the past but these seem to be made for me. Just got to soften up the leather round the ankles, thinking hammer?!

Lol. I have the same prob with boots ( footballers calves Wink

love a Carvery- always stack me plate bigger than I need:-) glad u have been out nd about enjoying your time off.

No they had no children. The blackness of depression hid artlessly behind the jovial smile always worn. Had very close friends and exceptionally close family. We are all left thinking of signs we must have missed.

Hope Santa was good to you nd yours:-)

Getting lots of emails t say the next sale stuff is ready t pick up... yeah when the snow clears lol x

Nice table settings by the way! Hindsight is a very precise science to quote my mother. She didn’t want any one to know and she knew you well enough to be able to show you you what you expected to see and hear.

Pick up your goodies when the weather improves!

That is really awful, Sandra. Hope your daughter is ok. When my son was doing AS levels 2 boys in his year committed suicide with no apparent reason why - excellent grades, happy homes but no one knows why. The pressure on kids and adults these days is vast and some are just stronger than others. We all have moments when we just wanna give up but we soldier on. Yes make the most of every single day and every single hug.

Sounds like you had an amazing day Sandra. I grew up sledging and skating. We had no snow whatsoever here. It's balmy warm here - I went out with just a jumper. Spending new years eve at home again with just the 4 of us as my son flys back on Jan 3rd. Enjoy whatever you're doing.

I’m not a fan of the New Year Celebrations, I tend to get a bit maudlin. The dog hates the fireworks so I’m staying at home with him. Youngest is working tomorrow until two and then the eldest is going to her boyfriends grandparents for tea and on to a gathering afterwards.

Hope you all have a good time tomorrow whatever it is you do and let’s all look forward to 2018!
