Hi George, how lovely to see your name pop up! I'm sorry to see that you have been in pain recently and hope your new doctor will find out why and help you feel better very soon.  I'm glad Ria is well and still keeping you busy. Alfie, our Jack Russell, is 7months now and such a quiet well-behaved little thing we can't believe our luck! He has one ear that sticks up all the time and I am not sure if that's normal? How are your family keeping and what are you doing at Christmas?

I'm still on chemotherapy but all seems stable with me at the moment.  Sending you lots of love x

hi lass nice to get your post our lass is still on chemo but tablet form but she is ok . we take her out for lunch one day a week she is 54 years old but looks 25 ,a bit like me I am 81 but look 21 a joke.speak soon regards .george b

   Just had a chat with our Bev she as not been to good today but we are still talking about going out for lunch in a good local eatery on timperley golf course (the old hall ) and I can get a seat near a window and

 watch a game go past .I did play the game up to this cancer thing but not any more and I miss it .going for some blood being taken weds at our local NHS the 4th time in four weeks at least they are looking after me.regards to you all .george x

When I have to go and have my blood taken, I always tell people I have been to the vampires dept as they always want so much.

Hi All went to our local NHS and she was very good took loads of blood ,but had a bad day to day took RIA to the vets and he gave her a good going over and the result is terrible she as a bad heart and not long to live what the hell am I going to do without her, she takes me for walks twice a day and looks after me. she is my soul partner .Bev as just txt me she had a bad day my world is upside down ,I am waiting for a scan the thing is her indoors is with me all the time .We have know each other for seventy years been together for sixty we lived next dooor to each other .ha well .regards all xxx

Oh George - I am so sorry to read about Ria, I know how much she means to you.  That is the awful thing about having a pet - we know inwardly that they will only live for a short while in comparison to us and that at some point we will have to go through the sadness of losing them.  I guess that all we can do is feel blessed that we have had them as a friend and know that they will be waiting for us when our time comes.

I hope Bev is better tomorrow too.

Many thanks flower yes you are right your dog is a pal when it does happen it will be so sad but at 81 she will be my last dog I have had 5 all rescue RIA is a one off .
