Hi I know with lots of different screening in some hospitals there is a delay in the result being reported due to volume. You could ask your gp medical secretary if she could chase for you x

I am sorry to learn that you are waiting for the results of your last mammogram and can appreciate that the waiting can become unsettling as time goes on.  

I'm afraid I don't know how much longer you will have to wait. I think local capacity in the breast imaging service workforce often has a bearing on waiting times, but we don't have any specific information about this that I can pass on. 

As an appointment for next month has been made, I am guessing that you might find out something then, for now, all I can suggest is that you try and chase it up with the hospital again.

I don't know if your GP could help but you could ask.
