I just had a ct scan on chest on the 2nd Jan and today had a phone call for review the results next week. I’ m nervous as the last 2 times I didn’t have to come back for the review. Let’s finger crosses there is nothing Kind regards Sara

  • Hello petitebrownie and welcome to our forum.

I'm sorry to hear that you are not coping well after having your ACC removed three years ago.

As many of our members who went through cancer can tell you, the feelings you describe are perfectly normal to have but also I think it's important not to stress too much if you can help it. Chatting with others who went through a similar experience might help and with this in mind I'm tagging here another member who was diagnosed with ACC, [@Elli]‍ and maybe you two can have a chat.

Other than that I just wanted to wish you good luck with your appointment next week.

    Best wishes,

    Renata, Cancer Chat Moderator

  • Hi there petitebrownie.  Will keep everything crossed for you and it will be great if you can let us know how it goes when the results are reviewed.  This site has so many people nervously waiting for results; don't let it unsettle you too much.

  • Hi Annieliz, finally I had the results it’s not good. The scan show that I have  some  white dots on both side of the lungs. They not sure what they are so I have to go through scan and biopsy sometime to find out. I have gone beyond upset now I gonna stay strong and very positive about it . Wishing me good luck guys I need it

  • Hi Sara, so sorry it has turned out this way and you have to wait for further testing to clarify what is happening.  Now you are back with uncertainty wondering about what these white dots represent but bless you for your determined positivity.  Staying strong is good but don't hesitate to keep posting if you are having a wobble at any time.  People here will know how you are feeling and want to help.   So many highs and lows with this wretched disease; you deserve a break.
