About CancerHi, ive recently been waking in the night due to itcy breast , I have checked for lumps and bumps , there isn't anything but at the bottom of breast underneath there is red spider line veins , they may have always been there but I've only just noticed them. Should I be concerned about the itchiness? It csn happen in the day but it mainly happens when I'm sleeping and wakes me up.

if it's worrying you I would advise a trip to gp any changes to breast should get a little check o had breast cancer last year , I only felt a heaviness I didn't feel any lump but turned out bad news for me , I'm not saying at all that this is same for you it's probably nothing serious but get a little check to put your mind at ease

Itchiness of the breast is not usually due to cancer. It is more often caused by other conditions that can affect the breast such as eczema or mastitis (inflammation of the breast).
If the itchiness persists, it’s best to make an appointment to see your GP. They may want to monitor your symptoms for a little while to see if it improves with simple treatments. Depending on what they think they may refer you to the breast clinic. This might seem alarming but the majority of women who are referred to the breast clinic for further assessment do not have breast cancer.
