Hello redfeed and welcome.  I have read all three of your posts - thank you - but am not sure that this one comes under the remit of this website.  I would either look at the subject on Which or alternatively look at one of the comparison websites which deal with private medical insurance.  (I am assuming it is medical insurance that you are seeking as opposed to wanting to insure your car or some such!)  All the best.  Annie

Thanks for the response, I am sorry that I did not make my self clear. I was looking for travel insurance to go to Spain while I can and I would have thought that this was relevent to many people with cancer which is why I asked the question. The comparison sites still offer no reasonable prices, some as high as £1000 for a single trip. Once again thank you.

That is okay redfeed.  We all do it, that is think we have expressed ourselves clearly only to find that it is not always the case.  Again, not sure that this is the right place to get the best information but hang on in there.  Cheers. 

Hi Redfeed,  There is plenty on this site about travel insurance -  just search for it at the top of the page.

I found Eurotunnel very reasonable - they need very little medical information and are very very reasonable as long as you are not currently undergoing treatment and have not been diagnosed as terminal ( incurable was OK!!)  I went to Croatia for a week last year for £25.  Tho I don't know what they are like if you have to claim.

Travel insurance is certainly a topic that comes up here often, for exactly the reasons you mention.

Thanks for the info, I rang a few of them and a couple want 2 to 3 weeks before travelling and want access to medical records. So they would not give a price without this info.
