I'm so sorry to hear that your husband has been unwell and is now facing a possible diagnosis of cancer or TB. It's understandable that you're both feeling confused and anxious about things. 

It sounds as if the Dr's are moving quite quickly to try and confirm a diagnosis and to see what the next steps may be so I'm glad that you're not having to wait too long for those appointments. 

I'd suggest giving our nurses a call ahead of your next appointment with a Consultant. I'm sure they will be able to offer some advice and information as well as help you think about the types of questions that you may want to ask the Dr's. If you'd like to chat with them they're available Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040.

Thankyou so much for your advice. We have had sleepless nights already and will be pleased to get a diagnosis. Much appreciated for the phone number will contact them . I have so much I want to ask and need too know .

Hi hubby got a phone call from the consultants secretary on Tuesday to say the results had been looked at in detail from the CT scan and he's now got an appointment tomorrow with lung specialist .. he's pretty calmed it's me that's so anxious. Any advice . Pudsey

I just wanted to post a quick reply to let you know that I'm thinking of you and your hubby today. Whatever news he's given from the specialist, I hope that they're able to give you some reassurance about the next steps.
