How was your day?

Hi Billy, these are highly treatable and rarely spread, I took several on my back in 2008,  mixture of freezing off and aldara cream cured it. I hope that reassured you a little x

Ps sorry I don't know all the details, just wanted to offer reassurance as that's what I'm looking for at the moment. You sound lovely and caring, that's a real support to have

Billy, that’s funny, I’m sure lots of names that mean adorable

V, maybe we should show off our bruises, we’ve certainly earned them. Two school runs today and I’m pooped, slept most of the afternoon, what’s that all about!!

Hi Plops, I'm really lucky that I do sleep, amazed how much, but figure sleep helps us heal physically and emotionally.  I rang the nurse today for a chat and she says it can take a while to accept the 'new look you'  and that in a way what you are seeing is a visual of what you have been through emotionally - ergo a hell of a time. Which makes sense, and is a relief as I thought I was losing the plot we are warriors and our multi coloured boobs are our warpaint! Just had a lovely visit from a work colleague. She brought cards I opened after she left and all teary ( in a good way) reading all the lovely comments. Next visitor at 7:30 bearing chicken curry I'm told. No longer miss grumpy. Thinking about a spot of decorating, reckon Billy is the man to contact for thatv- lol.

Hi Billy, you are such a good husband to Brenda, she is so lucky to have you. Isn't it amazing how we all buy new nightwear  at M&S before we go into hospital - its sort of an unwritten rule. Hope you picked a nice colour / pattern for Brenda, us ladies like to be 'glam' even in adversity. Best thing I packed for Hosp was earplugs.

What's the ear plugs for are you going to fit some tassels, nighties were light pink with bumblebees and flowers on, I've got something right she likes them I've still got some things to get yet but getting there.

Billy, it's official, I'm over my sad day. Ladies, for those who are confused, I assume fitting tassels is something to do with metal-work. Of course, given the body part in question, and my wacky side, fitting tassles did conjure up a completely different image in my head, altogether and I'm grinning like a Cheshire cat. Seriously, earplugs are a good idea cos wards can be noisey at night, machines bleeping and such like. You can get them in Boots. V
