Hi there Vplumb and Billy... not a good day yesterday but hopefull today will be good ... got my amazing great nieceup for a visit this morn ..
Billy .. good luck for your Mrs today .. fingers crossed ... Chrissie. Xx
Well my hunny .. whatever they throw at you , you take on the chin ... I'll have to look and do some homework as not sure what basil cell carcinoma is ... so I'll check ..
But you know we just have to get our vertual boxing gloves and get in the ring... wer all there Billy... so your Mrs has to look it in eye and punch it strait back ... cancer thinks it'll get us to give up with everything .. well it's got another thing comming ... it may damage our bodies but not our spirit ... together wer strong .. it's not about winning or loosing our journey... it's about sticking two fingers up to it ...
How's your day @VPlum ... keep your chin up lass ...
Had a lovely morning with my wonderfull great niece ..and she brought her little one up to.... she's only 3 nearly 4 and she told me she was going to the Drs for an operation ... she meant her pre school booster ... bless her ...x
Here's to us all kicking cancer ass ... Chrissie ❤❤
Hi Billy... just looked up basil cell carcinoma... it sounds really treatable if caught early enough .. so I suppose it's one of the better cancers to get ... if we have to have one ..
So fingers crossed .. all goes well for her ... with you looking after her ... she's half way there ..
Chrissy, well said lovely lady, there is strength in numbers; cancer is like a playground bully; all the nice kids (that's us - lol) play nicely, leave bully-cancer in the corner of the playground on it's own! I know I put wacky stuff on here sometimes, but I hope some of it helps others. Glad you had a lovely 'girlie day' with your special girls. I'm good, had lovely girlfriend visitor also. Was also talking to my cancer nurse today ( minor query) and she hinted at radio (rather than chemo) which warms the cockles of my heart, and probably will do literally, given where they'll be aiming the rad-rays. Lol. Bug hug to you, Billy, Brenda and anyone else who wants, needs or doesn't turn down a free one. V
