How do I change my email notifications?

Changing your email frequency

1. Go to ‘Account Settings' which you’ll find in your profile:

2. Select either: Immediately, daily, weekly or never.

3. Save changes

You can also opt in (or out) of news and updates from us:

To change your preferences

When you start a discussion or respond to a message on Cancer Chat, you will automatically receive notification emails which let you know when someone else has posted a reply

You can also choose to receive emails if you are following a particular discussion and want to know whenever it is updated

To stop receiving notification emails for a particular discussions

1. Go to ‘My Followed threads’ which you’ll find in your profile

2. Select the thread and click ‘unfollow discussion’

Thank you for letting us know. I have checked your settings and you are set up to receive notifications. I wonder whether our emails are being picked up by your spam filter? I'm going to report this to to our technical team to see if they can find the problem. Do you have a different email address you could use in case that helps? Could you let us know whether the notifications are in respect of replies to posts or private messages or both? You can email us at cancerchat@cancer.org.uk if it's easier

I am sorry you're having issues but we will do what we can to find out the cause for you

It seems to be working now,  maybe someone has corrected it?
